Krabi

Thailand

sunny 36 °C

After travelling 10 hours of on a cramped bus we finally arrived in Sai Ton. The surrounding limestone rock formations on the Island are amazing and very dramatic I instantly loved it here. Emma met up with us the following day as she had spent New Year in Koh Tao. We hired out Kayaks and explored the near by beaches. We visited Railay Beach which is still being built up since the Tsunami & Panang cave. After a day just chilling on the beach we took a day trip visiting 5 Islands. Hong Island was the first it has a fantastic lagoon surrounded by mountains and mangrove forest & was great for snorkelling. It was next to Lading Island which up until a few years ago no tourists were allowed. We then visited Parbia Island which had lots of secret caves, Rai Island & the last stop was Daeng Island which is basically a huge rock coming out of the sea but great for snorkelling.

Krabi with its surrounding Islands full with beautiful limestone mountains really is special I adored it here & was sad when we left.
